THIS WEDNESDAY. . . we are celebrating our SMOOTHIE SMACKDOWN VICTORY against 24-Hour Fitness! Sunday, DEFINE’s smoothie guru’s Erin Stewart and Kasey Buchtien went head-to-head with 24- Hour Fitness to see who made the best smoothie!  Thank you ALL for your support and votes. Persimmon Pleasure In this one green smoothie you get the fuel to not only lose weight, but rejuvenate your skin, fight aging, and increase energy. We’re keeping it seasonal with persimmons for a delightful taste!

{Yield: 2}

2 frozen persimmons
2 frozen bananas
6 oz frozen pineapple
1 oz fresh spinach
1-2 cups water

Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth.

Holy Cacao! Chocolaty-delish superfoods, cacao and maca, provide a plant-based source of energy, supports heart health, increases stamina, boosts libido and protects our bodies from free-radical damage. High in antioxidants and naturally sweetened with dates, this smoothie is perfect before or after your workout and decadent enough as a dessert. Feel good about indulging!

1 frozen banana
3 dates, pitted
1 cup rice milk
2 Tbsp cacao1 Tbsp maca
1 Tbsp coconut butter
1 Tbsp agave or honey (optional)
pinch Celtic sea salt
Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth.
