The promise of Susan G. Komen is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. This is done through funding research, education, screening and treatment programs that support those in the fight to save lives. Without a cure, 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer.
