Buy a card, send a child to school. (How easy is that?!?)
Fund a Future, Inc. (a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting underprivileged children in order to improve their living conditions, health, and education), teamed with Alay Kapwa, a Philippine community organization, to create a scholarship program for poor but deserving youth from the slums of Cebu City, Philippines.
And the cards seen in the video can be purchased at Ten Thousand Villages.

Why I Need a Tuxedo for Prom
Thursday, March 24th, 2011
Here’s the story of just one of the many deserving students that the Fairy Godmother Project is helping make their prom dream come true!
Why I Need a Tuxedo for Prom
My mom is a single parent. I lost my father when I was 13 years old. He passed away of cancer. I get his social security, but I give it to my mom to help out with the bills. My mom works, and takes care of two of my nieces and nephews. I didn’t plan on going to prom because it was not affordable. I heard about your organization with hopes that you can grant my wishes to attend my senior prom. I am also my class Valedictorian. I really hope you can help me get to my prom. It will truly be a dream come true.
My Future Goals and Plans
I am attending Rice University in the upcoming Fall. I want to be a Biochemical Engineer. I love chemistry and physics. I would love to find a cure for cancer. I want to find a medicine that will detect any type of cancer before it starts to progress. I have won numerous awards in chemistry, calculus and physics. I also want to explore and find out if life can exist any where else other planet earth. I am curious if life exists outside earth. I want to know what is beyond the stars. I am excited about my new endeavor of my life. I am vice president of the National Honor Society, I am secretary of the Future Business Leaders of America, and I am head bass saxophone player. I am also in Advid. I tutor kids at my school and kids at Rice University. I have picked up trash in the neighborhood, and donated food to people for the holidays.

Tsunami aid and relief: How you can help
Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011
The world continues to mobilize to help victims after a massive earthquake and tsunami sparked a nuclear crisis in Japan more than a week ago. And many of us are wondering how we can also aid the people of Japan.

If you are interested in donating to the cause, an easy way to lend a hand is to support the Red Cross Relief Fund is by texting “REDCROSS” to 90999 and making a $10 donation to the organization or you can donate funds online by clicking here. Your gift to the American Red Cross will support disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific.
