We offer engaging instruction and food demonstration with a focus on the preparation of delicious, sustainable, and seasonal food. Our facility, located at our West University location, is a clean and efficient, well-designed residential kitchen with a professional atmosphere, fully-equipped with stainless steel appliances, white subway tile, and marble counter tops. We can accommodate up to 30 people per class.

Reset Your Table: A DEFINE foods Guest Series, April 29, 2014

DEFINE food’s chef Erin O’Leary Stewart lead a tour of the Urban Harvest Farmers Market sharing some of her seasonal favorites from our local farmers. On the tour, she taught guests how to incorporate the freshest food the spring season has to offer and showed her favorite go-to vendors at the market.

Afterwards, Erin and Stephanie Hoban of Ripe held a cooking demo on how to incorporate these delicious ingredients into weekday meals. Guests tasted three dishes and a juice while receiving step by step instruction on how to create them at home.

Both Stephanie and Erin received culinary training from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City and were happy to be in the kitchen together again.

Erin earned her culinary degree from New York City’s Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts and focuses on using natural,seasonal ingredients aimed towards healing in order to live a balanced and grounded lifestyle.
